Functions of the General Assembly

The General Assembly is the body of IUINDRR-NIDM which comprises of all the approved members of the IUINDRR-NIDM. There shall be one annual meeting of General Assembly, which will focus on:

  1. Discussing issues and concerns of the universities in education and research on disaster risk reduction across member universities;
  2. Reviewing past programmes;
  3. Suggesting and adopting future programs through presentation of proposals;
  4. Informing, through a brief report to the Secretariat, all the network- related and proposed activities at the beginning and end of each financial/ calendar year;
  5. Considering such resolutions as may be submitted by member universities;
  6. Reviewing membership and contributions/ participation of members periodically.
