Additionally, it subscribes to 18 magazines and journals of national and international acclaim, along with 13 newspapers. The library focuses on Disaster Management research and study.
NIDM library has been acting as a crucial resource and learning center to meet the information needs of its faculty/staff members, research scholars from India and abroad, participants of various national/international training/programmes organized by the NIDM, and other visiting faculty and users.
In terms of memberships, the library is affiliated with Developing Library Network (DELNET), offering worldwide web access to its databases, including E-books and E-journals. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) supports advanced search strategies, enabling training participants, faculty, and staff to check the status of library resources.
The library prominently features details of newly arrived and top circulating books on the front page of its catalogue. Special sections include Hindi Literature books, NIDM publications for transparency, and a Gratis Section for gifted books.
